Survey-grade LiDAR mapping and photogrammetry for civil engineers, land surveyors, and construction professionals throughout Washington State and beyond. From GNSS ground control through final deliverable — classified point clouds, DTMs, contours, and CAD-ready data — every project is managed and executed by the same operator, start to finish.
Our clients include civil engineering firms needing survey-grade topographic data for design and permitting, land surveyors requiring aerial data to support PLS-certified deliverables, general contractors tracking earthwork progress and cut/fill volumes, mining and aggregate operations measuring stockpile inventory, utility and infrastructure operators requiring aerial inspection and corridor mapping, and agricultural producers needing terrain analysis, drainage mapping, or crop health monitoring. We understand the specific deliverables each industry requires and deliver data formatted for the tools your team already uses — Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, and standard CAD workflows.
Based in Bonney Lake, Washington, we serve clients throughout the Pacific Northwest and deploy nationally for the right project. Our primary market is Washington State — civil engineers, land surveyors, contractors, and developers who need survey-grade aerial data and a direct line to the operator managing their project.
The geospatial industry is full of providers who rent drones and hand off raw files. Confluent Drone Services exists to do something different: deliver analysis-ready data products formatted for the workflow that comes after ours — ready for Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or PLS review without a cleanup pass in between.
We believe the value of aerial data isn't in the collection — it's in what your team can do with it the day it arrives. That belief shapes how we fly, how we process, and how we deliver on every project.
Our long-term vision is simple: to be the firm that engineers, civil contractors, and land surveyors in the Pacific Northwest call first when accuracy and professionalism aren't optional — and to earn that position one documented, validated deliverable at a time.
Confluent Drone Services provides high-accuracy LiDAR and photogrammetry data acquisition using the DJI Matrice 400 with Zenmuse L3 sensor — professional-grade equipment capable of covering hundreds of acres per flight with consistent point density across terrain of any complexity.
Our mission is to deliver that capability with direct access to the operator on every project — no account managers, no subcontracted crews, no hand-offs. We cover projects from small sites to large-scale campaigns — our largest LiDAR deployment to date covers 5,800 acres in a single mobilization. We handle everything from GNSS ground control and OPUS post-processing to final deliverable formatting — orthomosaics, classified point clouds, digital terrain models, and accuracy reports designed to support PLS review and certification.
Every deliverable is documented, validated, and built to integrate with the tools your team already uses.
Equipment that earns its keep. The Matrice 400 / Zenmuse L3 platform delivers the point density needed to classify ground reliably through moderate vegetation, extract clean bare-earth surfaces, and produce DTMs that hold up in the Pacific Northwest's variable terrain — forested slopes, transitional terrain, and complex sites where photogrammetry falls short. The equipment is professional-grade because the deliverable has to be.
Direct access, real responsiveness.
You deal with the operator directly on every project — not a dispatch system, not an account manager. When your project has a tight window between weather events or a deadline that doesn't move, that access matters. We're based in the Pacific Northwest and deploy regionally and nationally.
We know where the line is. Confluent Drone Services is not a licensed Professional Land Surveyor, and we don't pretend to be. We specialize in the data acquisition and processing side — and we produce deliverables specifically designed to support PLS review and certification. That clarity protects you, and it means our work actually holds up when it needs to.
Credentialed for restricted and industrial access.
OSHA 10 compliant and TWIC card holder — cleared for port facilities, industrial terminals, and regulated sites that require background verification before work begins.
Professional documentation on every project.
FAA Part 107 certified, fully insured, and operating under signed scopes of work. Every project includes an accuracy report with per-point checkpoint residuals and RMSE values. If you're working with an engineering firm or municipality that needs a professional paper trail, we've already built it.
